Betty Jane (Shadle) Nihiser

Betty Jane Nihiser, age 88, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, Ohio.  She was born July 07, 1929 in Fulton County, Ohio to the late Tom and Evelyn (Bradbee) Shadle.  She married Clyde Nihiser and he preceded her in death on October 01, 1981.  Betty loved NASCAR, reading, crocheting, and telling all her nieces, nephews and cousins all of the history of the Shadle family. 

Survivors include, her step-son, Jerry (Judy) Pierman, North Palm Beach, Florida.  Step-grandchildren, Jana (John) Barren and their children, Sarah and Danny;  Joseph and his daughter, Rylie;  Jason (Amanda) and their children, Ella and RJ.  Step-daughter, Betty McKagan.   Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Betty is granddaughter of Charles Shadle who have all preceded her in death.  Surviving cousins are children of Dorothy Shadle Gallagher and Rev. F. Anthony (Tony), Loretta (Sis) Gallagher Wenger, Charles, Michael, Kevin Gallagher and the late Terry Gallagher  

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters, Ruth Ann (Shadle) Peck, Mary Helen Cummins, Evelyn (Tommy) Hoffman, Dorothy Miller, and Sally Jo Shadle.  Brother, Dick Shadle.

A family reunion will be planned at a later date to celebrate Betty's life.
