Brenda Sue Farnsworth

Brenda Sue Farnsworth, age 61, of Wauseon, passed away Friday evening, November 15, 2019, in her home. Brenda had been an accountant for Sonit Systems in Archbold for many years. Prior to that she had also worked for Penrod & George Accounting, the former Globe-Weiss, Sterling Milk Company and Wood Trucking.

Brenda was born in Wauseon on December 24, 1957, the daughter of Vernon and Mary (Barnes) Oyer. She was a member of True North Church in Wauseon. Brenda was an accomplished Pianist and enjoyed giving piano lessons.

Surviving is her son, Evan (Kimberly) Farnsworth of Wauseon; “daughter by choice”, Michelle Lupo of Michigan; two grandsons, Remington and Wyatt; parents, Vernon and Mary Oyer of Wauseon; special friend, Dan Cook; two sisters, Beth (John) Nafziger of Wauseon and Bonnie (Dan) Zink of Pemberville; and brother, Brent (Crystal) Oyer of Wauseon. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Chantal Farnsworth.

Visitation for Brenda will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at True North Church in Wauseon. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M., also in the church, with Pastor Rex Stump, officiating. Interment will be in the Wauseon Union Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to a Trust Fund for Remington and Wyatt. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
