I was saddened to hear of Erna's passing and our thoughts are with you. I have many fond memories of Erna and her connection with swimming and the many meets that I worked with you all. I am delighted to see that the family tradition has continued with a Pelok presence at many of the Defiance meets that I have attended. Jd

Missi,
I'm so sorry about your mom. I know how close you were and that this has left an emptiness in your heart. Stay strong like she would want you to and lean on your family for support. Wish I could be there with you but please call me if you need to talk or anything. Your mom was a great person who touched so many lives. Hold on to the wonderful memories.

To the Pelok family- my deepest sympathy to all in the passing of Erna. I have fond memories from the many hours on the pool deck with Erna as both a coach. It was a enjoyable family affair when all the Pelok kids were the part of NAC; Erna was coaching; and Dr. Dave was officiating.
Erna was a wonderful human being. She always had the best interest in kids at heat and was an integral part of a coaching staff. I always enjoyed her laugh. The Pelok kids are certainly a reflection of her values.
Again, a sad day for all- but lets celebrate a wonderful life.

We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My grand daughter Katelyn always looked forward to holding the door for you when you brought Erna to the dialysis center and she loved talking to Missy. She still remembers all of you and occasionally asks me if I remember her "friends" ! You have our deepest sympathy.

My deep sympathy for all of your loss. When I heard the news it woke a memory, old and a little dusty but warm, of all of you packed into a station wagon arriving at my parents house for a visit. Hands waved from the open windows as Dave stopped the car. It was a sunny day, filled with laughter... and, if recollection is served, the smell of pizza burgers.
I can still smell them.

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Erna. I really came to know her through the swimming program in the summer, and both she and your dad through the ball programs, as all of you kids went through them, My parents had several of her Schnauzers and loved them dearly. She was a special person. You have some wonderful memories to keep in your heart to pull out whenever you need a smile. We're keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
