Florence L. (Garman) Hayward

Florence L. Hayward, age 94, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 in Fulton Manor, Wauseon, Ohio.  She was born September 02, 1921 in Ottokee, Ohio to the late Charles and Gladys Mae (Lambert) Garman.  She married Robert Karl Hayward on June 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1997.  She was a homemaker, member of North Dover United Methodist Church, Charter member and Past President of Wauseon VFW 7424 Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Wauseon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  Florence enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include,  her twin daughters,  Bonnie Lopez, and husband, Martin, of Delta, Ohio.  Connie Baldwin, and husband, Jim, of Wauseon, Ohio. Daughters-in-law,  Sharon Hayward, (Harry Keller), of Bryan, Ohio and Jean Hayward, Wauseon, Ohio.  Sister, Phyllis Fink, Deerfield, Michigan. 

6 grandchildren.  12 great-grandchildren  2 step great-grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Daryl Hayward and Dale Hayward.  Brother, Donald Garman. Sister, Charlene Gordon.  Grandsons, Christopher Hayward and Bradley Hayward.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, Ohio.  Pastor Don Krieger officiating.  Interment will follow in Ottokee Cemetery.  Funeral luncheon will follow the interment services at the Wauseon VFW.

Family and friends may call 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Wauseon VFW Auxiliary Service 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton Manor Activities Fund or the charity of donor's choice.
