Please note that there was an error in the time listed for visitation in the previous version of this obituary. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, not 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 as previously listed.

With great sadness, we said goodbye to our dad, Harlen Clark, on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Dad died from complications associated with multiple myeloma and more recently colon cancer.

He was born on December 3, 1933, to Dale and Evelyn Clark. He was the third of their five children. He is survived by his siblings Betty Smith (Bob), Sterling Clark (Marilyn), Leona Barnes (Gary), and Ruth Ann Hawk (Meredith).

Dad attended school at Chesterfield, where he met the love of his life, Barbara Elliott. They were married on July 13, 1952. Their union resulted in three children: Sharon Schwall (Jack) Clementson (Mitch), Ken Clark (Cindy), and Linda Roth (Joe).

Dad loved farming and the challenges it involved. He was always tinkering and creating a new and better way to do things. Dad and Mom loved their summer cottage at Round Lake, traveling, playing golf, and later their home in Haines City, Florida. They made great friends wherever they went. Dad was involved in their various churches and served on the Fulton County Fair Board for 25 years.

Dad kept us, our cousins and later our children and grandchildren entertained with his many pranks. Their favorite was Dad reading a well known children's book completely wrong.

Dad and Mom were blessed with seven grandchildren: Kerry Pros (Zach), Nicole Gleckler (Ben), Brittney Clifford (Josh), Hannah Bruns (Nick), Adam Schwall (Perrin), Clark Schwall (deceased) and Jodie Clementson. They also had ten great grandchildren: Zevin, Lyric, Clark, Jack, Lucy, Zoey, Harlen, Aiden, Rhett, and Reece.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara. They were married 64 years.
