Jesus DeLosSantos

Jesus “Jesse” DeLosSantos, age 83, of Stryker passed away late Thursday March 23, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee. Prior to his retirement he had worked for the former LaChoy Foods in Archbold as a Shift Supervisor.

Mr. DeLosSantos was born on March 31, 1933 in Weslaco, TX the son of the late Emilio and the late Otillia (Hernandez) DeLosSantos. On February 14, 1952 he married the former Irene Ortega and she preceded him in death in 2012. He enjoyed gardening, listening to Tejano music, dancing and barbecuing for his family. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Surviving are his children, Martha (David) Kerr, Stryker, Maria (Jose) Valderas, Stryker, Margarita DeLosSantos, Bryan, Emilio (Angela) DeLosSantos, Lexington, Ky., Jesus (Jesse) DeLosSantos, Jr., Stryker. 13 grandchildren. 17 great-grandchildren. and one great-great-grand-daughter. Preceding him in death was brother, Emilio and sisters; Manuela and Frances.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30am Tuesday March 28, 2017 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Archbold with Father Stanberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Stryker. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm on Monday at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
