Leona M. Miley

Leona M. Miley, age 89, of Hudson, Michigan and formerly of Wauseon went to the arms of our loving Father two days before her 90th birthday. She is now in a better place.

Born on August 14, 1926 in Wauseon, Ohio the daughter of the late Clair and the late Lula B. (Hay) Miley. She lived on the family farm southwest of Wauseon at a place called Lena Corners for many years. About 10 years ago she sold the family farm and moved to Hudson, Michigan to be near her favorite niece Barbara Smith who preceded her in passing. Leona was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon where she had been involved with many of their projects.

Leona is survived by three nieces, two nephews and many others. Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday August 19, 2016 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with Rev. Ralph Wearstler officiating. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 10:00am until service time. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
