Mary Lou Short

Mary Lou Short, age 82, of Archbold, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Brookdale Bay Pines in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Mary Lou was born in Stryker, Ohio on May 18, 1935, the daughter of Ralph and Ester (Lipp) Parker. She married Charles Short, and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was a member of the Archbold Evangelical Church.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Don Hyatt of Archbold, brother-in-law, E. Dean (Phyllis) Short, Archbold, Ohio, brother-in-law, Byrl (Clara) Short of Exeter, New Hampshire, and sister-in-law, Marlene (Howard) Habegger, Hesston, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three sisters, Joyce Kramer, Nancy Hyatt, and Dolores Robertson.

Visitation for Mary Lou will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 2, 2017, in the Fireside Room at Archbold Evangelical Church, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Roger Andrews, officiating. Interment will follow in the Lockport Cemetery, near Stryker. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
