Michael J. Gentner, MSG (R)

MSG(R) Michael J. Gentner passed suddenly on September 15, 2017 from a heart attack while traveling.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Kansas, he joined the military and made a life long career out of serving his country. He retired in 2015 to Defiance, Ohio with his wife Jeanine Gentner and Snuggles after almost 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanine Gentner, son Nic Gentner, daughter-in-law Alecia (Carlin) Gentner, daughter Stephanie (Gentner) Gingher, son-in-law Robert Gingher, mother Judith Gentner, older brother William Gentner, middle brother Mark Gentner, and his four grandchildren Kharma, Harley, Megan and Robbie.

Services will be held privately and the family is asking for donations to his go fund me page at: http://www.gofundme.com/funeral-cost-for-michael-j-gentner in lieu of flowers and cards. He will be sorely missed as he has touched so many loves with his thoughtfulness and caring manner. This world has lost a great man but heaven has received an amazing angel.
