Our days at St. Luke school were so very simple...it was easy being a child back then. Bill was a classmate of mine and I remember him as a very quiet and pleasant guy, never really causing our teachers any problems. How very interesting to read about his life and I thank you all for sharing it !! I could tell he has been a very special person in each of your lives, and I'm sure he will be missed. My deepest sympathy to Bill's family. In 1968 when I was a freshman at Gannon, Bill tutored me through a semester of calculus I was clearly not cut out for. Over the years, I fondly remembered his patience and kindness in helping me through that class. I am so sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to the Ott family. Bill was a respected colleague as a school business official. Bill and I would often "bounce" ideas and situations off of each other to arrive at what we felt were the right way to do things. He was a true professional. God Bless !
