Wauseon:
Brady Alexander Gigax, age 28, died unexpectedly on May 19, 2023. Brady was born November 29, 1994 to Alex and Michelle Gigax. He was a lifelong resident of Wauseon and member of St. Caspar Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Brady loved the outdoors. He looked forward to hunting season every year and enjoyed fishing and sitting by the campfire. He was a supporter of the National Turkey Wildlife Federation. Besides his family, his big love was the Michigan Wolverines. He rarely missed a game and rooted them on win or lose.
Brady is survived by sisters: Olivia and Kassie Gigax of Wauseon, Megan Giltz of Toledo and brother, Quintin Gigax of Ann Arbor, grandparents Larry and Sandy Gigax of Archbold and too many aunts, uncles and cousins to name.
He was welcomed at heaven’s gate by his grandparents Jim and Pat Dominique, Uncle Jeff Stiriz, cousin Desiree, Uncle Joe Narges and special Uncle Wes Penrod.
Brady has given the gift of sight to someone by donating his corneas.
Visitation will be held at St. Caspar’s on Friday May 26 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 in the Family Life Center. Holy Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Friday in the church. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Fr. Todd Dominique on Saturday May 27 at 11AM, also at St. Caspar’s. Brady’s final resting place will be at St. Caspar Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given the the benevolence of the family.
