Lucille Bannister Obituary

Lucille M. Bannister, age 99, passed away on March 19, 2023, at Fulton Manor Nursing Home in Wauseon Ohio. She was born on May 23, 1923, in Henry County, Ohio to Noah and Augusta (Yackee) Rettig. On April 5, 1942, she married Charles M. Bannister. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. A long time resident of Ridgeville Corners,Ohio, she retired from Fulton Industries after more than 27 years of service.

She is survived by daughters, Pat (Tom) Miller of South Ogden Utah; Lita (Jerry) Dehnbostel of Haines City Florida; grandchildren, Jackie Bassett of Arizona, Jason Morrow of Oklahoma, Kimberly Plum of Utah, Brad Miller of Utah, Tony Dehnbostel of Wauseon Ohio and Amy Ferguson of Wauseon Ohio; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Morrow; son, C. Robert Bannister; and granddaughter, Tara Thatcher.

At Lucille's request, a graveside service will be held at a later date with only immediate family in attendance. Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon.
