She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Samuel Perry, Carlos Perry, nd Dorothy (Perry) Boyd.

She loved watching birds, collecting teapots, and floral patterned antiques. Her hobbies were not extensive as her greatest joy in life was anything to do with her family. She cared for at least ten foster children after raising her sons.  She loved Jesus with all of her heart and showed that in the way that she loved and served her family. One of the last things she said was, “Lord, please bless my family. Jesus, bless my children and my grandchildren.” She was a woman of faith and love, and that was evident to anyone who had the good fortune to meet her.

Private graveside funeral services were held on Monday, September 3, 2018, at Riverview Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Kyle Brownlee, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the foster care agency Adriel, 3454 Oak Alley Court Suite 308, Toledo, Ohio 43606, www.adriel.org, or 419-782-0276. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
