Death is but an inevitable phase of life - a transition from one form to another. We rejoice in our belief that Marie is not dead but, rather, she is now enjoying everlasting life with Christ Jesus. And yet, she lives on in fond memories of the many who knew her here on Earth and in the character of her children and their children. Our grief is a sadness which we feel, not for Marie, but for ourselves as we try to fill the void in our lives which she once filled - a temporary grief which will soon vanish if we also are redeemed and join with her again (and forever) in the hereafter.
You, Uncle Herb, are a great judge of character! And you, Becky, Ben, and Matt must feel like you won life's lottery! We hope you remember to celebrate the life of a wonderful wife and mother, and a beautiful soul!

Dear Herb and family,
We were so sorry to hear Marie passed away. She has been through a lot of health issues recently and she never complained. When I started working with Marie as an aide at Delta Elementary she was very patient while I learned my new job. She had the most beautiful smile. I really enjoyed working with her. Indeed Marie let Christ's light shine for all to see. May God's loving arms be around all of you now and in the days to come. Heaven gained another angel.
