Mark Stanley Ciepiela

Mark S. Ciepiela, age 56 of Delta, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 30, 2017. 

Mark was born on March 7, 1961, in Jackson, Michigan, to the late Stanley and the late Imogene (Goodwin) Ciepiela.  Prior to his retirement, He worked 30 years as an over the road semi-truck driver.  Mark had a passion for truck driving, visiting 49 of the 50 states and having over 4.5 million miles under his belt!  On November 7, 1997, he married Laurie Bonner, and she survives.  He loved his wife unconditionally as she was always his princess and forever will be.

Mark loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.  He also enjoyed target shooting, golfing, daily coffee trips to Red Rambler, riding his motorcycles, and was a die-hard Michigan fan.

Surviving besides his wife, Laurie, are children Mandy (Jeremy) Kern of Delta, Kami (Tony) Vasko of Swanton, Kayleigh Ciepiela (Joshua Martin) of Delta, and Jeffrey (Shiloh) Ciepiela of Fayette.  Mark is also survived by grandchildren Karyssa and Mykenna Vasko, Kalan and Kason Kern, Addalee Ciepiela, and Blayklei Martin arriving soon.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Skates.
