I remember Bud during my growing up years in Archbold. When I worked at Lugbill Supply Bud would often come in and pick up things he needed for a project. I don't know if I was special or not, but it always seemed that if Bud and I crossed paths he would give me a word from the Lord. So many times Bud would declare the character and nature of God in such a passionate way. I am grateful to God for sending men like Bud into my life. His daughter Candy shared Christ with me at a pivotal time in my life...and she led me to Jesus. Lord, thank you for the Hitt family and their powerful investment in Your Kingdom!

Dear Dawn, Penny and Candy Jo. My heart goes out to each of you in the passing away of your precious father. But we know where he is and how your mother is rejoicing that they are in heaven together. I am sorry that we will not be able to come up for his funeral, but hope to call the church and get a copy of the funeral service. We are so glad we got to see him this summer.
