Thomas L. Lajiness

Thomas "Tom" L.  Lajiness, age 65, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away  Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Arbors of Oregon. He was born February 16, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Lafayette P. and Marilyn R. (Zoll) Lajiness.  Tom was an employee of Sauder Woodworking as a saw operator and trainer as well as a member of the safety committee since March 1987.  He was a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church,  Wauseon, Ohio and was a skilled woodworker, listener, fixer, bingo and card player, cook and locksmith.  He also created many woodworking and electronics projects with his father and children throughout his life.  He was a family man and loved his family dearly.  

Survivors include his children, Aaron T. (Emily) Lajiness, Odessa, Tx,   Jessica M. Lajiness and her fiance, Joshua Bittner, of Walbridge, Ohio.  Stephen P. (Kristina) Lajiness, Odessa, Tx.  Grandchildren, Miranda, Melina, Michael, and Sophia Lajiness.  Brother-in-law;  Keith Quillin, Oak Harbor, Ohio.  Nephew; Jeff (Wendy) Quillin, San Antonio, Tx.; great-nephews;  Travis and Kurtis; aunts, uncles and cousins;  brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews-in-law, great nieces and nephews-in-law,  and great-great nieces and nephews-in-law.  

He is preceded in  death by his parents and sister, Betty Quillin.

Visitation with family will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at  10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Haven Heights Baptist Church, North Ottokee Street, Wauseon, Ohio.  Pastor Lance Wyse is officiating.  Interment will follow in Wauseon Union Cemetery.  Funeral luncheon will follow the interment services at the church.
