Vivian Ann (Knapp) Hall

Vivian Ann (Knapp) Hall,  age 92 of rural Evansport, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 04, 2018 in Genesis Health Care Center, Bryan, Ohio. Vivian was born August 14, 1925 in Jefferson Township,  Williams County Ohio to the late Elgie and Mary (Patten) Knapp.  She wed and worked the family farm her entire life with her husband Edwin E. Hall.  They were married  February 19, 1948 and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2004.  She was a lifelong member of Evansport United Methodist Church. Sewing was a lifelong hobby.    

Survivors include her children, Marcia (Phil) Meyer, Stryker, Ohio.  Kenny  Hall, Stryker, Ohio.  She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren, Christi (Jeremy) Stober, Holgate, OH.,  Angie (Kyle) Brown, Ayersville, OH.,  Brooks (Amee) Meyer, Stryker, OH., Shannon (Justin) Vold, Napoleon, OH., Shane Hall, Montpelier, OH.   Nine great-grandchildren, Jarrod and Jakob Stober, Aeriel and Kobe Brown,  Abbie and Xavior Meyer,  Saddie and Sam Vold,  Kensie Hall.  Two sisters,  Deloris Dennis, Montpelier, OH., and Ada Ely, Pioneer, OH.  Nieces and nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Ernie, Alvie, Basil Knapp.  Sister, Velma Weisenburger and infant son, Ronald E. Hall.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 06, 2018 in Grisier Funeral Home, 109 South Defiance Street, Stryker, Ohio 43557. Pastor Donna Stutzman will officiate.  Interment will follow in Evansport Cemetery.  Friends may call for time of visitation with family 10:00 a.m. -  11:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home prior to the funeral services.  Funeral luncheon will follow the funeral services Saturday in Evansport United Methodist Church.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evansport United Methodist Church Building Fund or Community Health Professionals Hospice, Williams County.
