William "Billy" Hawes

William “Billy” Hawes Jr., age 41, of Toledo passed away Friday June 2, 2017 in his home.

Billy was born on April 8, 1976 in Wauseon, Ohio, the son of William Hawes and Cindy (Eberly) Bell.   Billy was a 1994 graduate of Delta High School and was employed as a Drywaller.  Billy was a wonderful and talented artist and enjoyed many types of drawing, including his passion of tattoo artwork. Billy enjoyed spending time with his children, and he loved to teach them how to fish, one of his favorite pastimes. He was looking forward to spending more time with them this summer. Billy was very social and had many friends. He will be remembered for his exuberant personality.

Billy is survived by his children, Aaron Hawes of Punta Gorda, FL, Morgan Hawes of Wauseon and Tara and Claytin Hawes both of Hudson, MI., grandchildren; Paisley and Aubree, Parents; Cindy (Jim) Bell and William (Sherry) Hawes and sister; Amy (Mike) Lassers of Littleton, CO; two nieces,  Amber and Madison Lassers, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-6:00 pm on Thursday at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Memorial contributions may be made to the benevolence of the family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
