Alyssa Nikkol Fleischmann Obituary

Stryker:

Alyssa Nikkol Fleischmann, age 21.

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Alyssa Nikkol Fleischmann, left this world unexpectedly on October 2, 2020 and went home to be with Jesus and her grandma Gracyk. Alyssa was born in Toledo Ohio on 10/01/99 to Jeff Fleischmann and Dawn Mendoza. While much of her childhood was spent in Toledo, she moved to Stryker in 2016 and graduated from Archbold High School in 2018.

Alyssa was currently enrolled full-time in her third year at the University of Toledo pursuing a degree in human resources while also working full-time at Little Caesars Pizza. She was motivated, driven and always worked hard toward her life goals. She was also a talented, natural-born artist.

Things she loved include her cat Baloo, being in the spotlight and making others laugh with her, movie nights, riding four-wheelers, playing card games, getting fancy with makeup once in awhile and she may have had a slight obsession with Buff City Soap.  She also loved art and pursuing education, but most importantly, Alyssa loved her family and friends and always sought to encourage those around her; and it was easy for them to love her right back. And let’s be honest. She had her daddy and brothers wrapped around her little finger.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Joann Gracyk and grandfather Tim Rasczyk and survived by her father and step-mother, Jeff (Tanya) Fleischmann of Stryker; mother, Dawn Mendoza of Toledo; three brothers, Travis Schooner of Archbold, Jacob Fleischmann (her best friend) of Archbold, Zachary Schooner of Stryker; two sisters, Faith Boone of Toledo and Raven Cattrell of Toledo. She is also survived by two grandfathers, James Fleischmann and Jerry Gracyk, both of Toledo; grandparents, Wayne & Peggy Schmucker of West Unity, Greg & Lori Mendoza of Swanton; and grandmother, Elizabeth Rasczyk of Fremont.

Though we mourn her loss we also wish to celebrate her amazing life and focus on the joy she gave us. If you were lucky enough to have Alyssa in your life, then we encourage you to celebrate the good memories you have of her and remember to live life to your fullest because it’s so very fragile.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at the Stryker United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the Stryker Cemetery.
