Barbara Ann Lantz, age 87, of Wauseon, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. She was born on March 28, 1933 to Alfred and Glena (Dearwester) First in Ecorse, Michigan. She married Maurice Lantz in 1950 and he preceded her in death. For many years she took great pride in being the lead cook for Pettisville Schools and most recently worked as a cook for 4-H Camp Palmer in Fayette. Barbara was also a member of the Wauseon American Legion, Post 265 Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Allen (Gina) Lantz of Rotonda West, Florida, Terry (Brooke) Lantz of Bryson City, North Carolina and Kandy (James) Selgo of Goodyear, Arizona; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and sister, Nancy Nisely of Delta. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Lantz.

In accordance to Barbara’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
