June 4, 1933 ~ October 7, 2017 (age 84) 84 Years Old

Obituary for Barbara Elliott Clark:

We lost our beloved mother, Barbara Clark on Saturday, October 7, 2017, after suffering for many years with Alzheimer's.

She was born June 4, 1933, to Howard and Avis Elliott. Mom was the second of their three children. She is survived by her brother Robert Elliott and sister Donnie Hantz.

Mom attended Chesterfield school, where she met the love of her life, Harlen Clark (who proceeded her in death). They were married on July 13, 1952. Their union resulted in three children: Sharon Schwall (Jack) Clementson (Mitch), Ken Clark (Cindy), and Linda Roth (Joe).

Once her children were all in school, Mom started driving a school bus for the Wauseon School District. After several years of that, Mom and our Aunt Marilyn opened C&C Fads and Fashions, a ladies boutique. Mom enjoyed crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles and completing word searches. Mom loved spending time at the cottage on Round Lake and having friends and family visit. She and Dad enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and their home in Haines City, Florida. They made life-long friends wherever they went.

Mom and Dad were blessed with seven grandchildren: Kerry Pros (Zach), Nicole Gleckler (Ben), Brittney Clifford (Josh), Hannah Bruns (Nick), Adam Schwall (Perrin), Clark Schwall (deceased) and Jodie Clementson. They also had ten great grandchildren: Zevin, Lyric, Clark, Jack, Lucy, Zoey, Harlen, Aiden, Rhett, and Reece.

Visitation is Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. The funeral service is on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at North Clinton Church, with Pastor Brad Faler, officiating. Interment will be in the Tedrow Cemetery.Memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association or North Clinton Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
