Connie Lauber Obituary

Connie Sue Lauber, age 75, of Archbold, passed away on September 19, 2024, at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold. Connie worked as a medical secretary for Archbold Medical Group for 32 years.

Connie was born on June 13, 1949, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Randall and Leitha (Ruppert) Cottrell. She graduated from Hicksville High School. On April 13, 1996, she married Samuel "Sam" Lauber, and he survives. Sam and Connie attended St. Martins Lutheran Church in Archbold. Connie loved decorating her house, growing flowers, reading, baking, and bird watching. She also enjoyed her weekly lunch dates with her friend group. Her joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her husband, Sam; daughter, Michele (Rob) Green of Defiance; grandchildren, Lacey (Mark Harrell), Tyson, Troy (Zoey), Max, and Ruth; great-grandchildren, Delilah, Paislee, and Fox; mother, Leitha Cottrell of Bryan; and brother, Ron Cottrell of Florida. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Diana Kosier.

Visitation for Connie will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm, at the St. Martin's Lutheran Church. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11am, with Deacon Steve Basselman officiating. A committal service will follow the service at the Smith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Martins Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
