David Leonard, age 89, passed away, peacefully and surrounded by family, March 8, 2020 at Indian Meadows Nursing Home in Wauseon. David was an electrician for over 50 years, and was multi-talented in many areas.

David was born in Palmyra, Michigan on December 27, 1930 to the late Howard and Goldie (Southwell) Leonard. On March 17, 1953, David married Doris (Monroe) Leonard. David earned his electrical and contractor's license and even worked to earn his masters contractors license. David and his family followed the teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving David is his daughter, Deanna Kurland of Wauseon, two grandsons, and a sister, Delores Valentine. Those who preceded David in his death are his parents; wife, Doris Leonard; brothers, Ron and Wayne Leonard; son-in-law, Daniel Kurland, and brother-in-law, Dale Valentine.

In honor and celebration of David's life, a Memorial Service will be held in the next few weeks.
