It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey “Jeff” Wollet, age 65, of Wauseon, OH, and formerly of Walton Hills, OH. Jeff died peacefully at Fulton Manor on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Jeff was a skilled woodworker in the fourth generation of Wollet craftsmen. He worked at Leiden Cabinet Co. in Twinsburg, OH, before retirement. He loved collecting Native American artifacts and knives. He was a graduate of Bedford High School in Bedford, OH.
Cutting an imposing figure at 6’8”, Jeff was a gentle giant with a huge heart. He was caring and compassionate, deeply loved his extended family, and had a warmth he extended to nearly everyone he met.
Jeff is survived by his wife Robin (Brodbeck); children Mikki and Vanessa Wollet of Akron, Russell (Brianna) Wollet of Phoenix, AZ, Michelle (Matt) Schuette of Holgate, OH, and Matthew (Ashley) Huffman of Liberty Center, OH; brothers Eric (Rick) Norwood of Lagrange, OH, Joseph (Kathie Wilkens) Wollet of Strongsville, OH, Tom (Donna) Wollet of Northfield Village, OH; grandchildren Ethan Cole, Zoe and Zack Fisher, Everett and Elise Wollet, Madilynn and Maxton Schuette, and Corey and Layla Huffman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rita (Dacek) Wollet of Walton Hills, OH, and sister, Janet (Michael) Markiewicz, of South Euclid, OH.
A celebration of Jeff’s life is being planned in the Greater Cleveland area in early 2026 for his many family members and friends.
Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon is honored to serve the Wollet family.
