Karol Jean McDaniel

Fort Wayne, Indiana:

Karol Jean McDaniel, age 77, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and formerly of Wauseon, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Karol was born in Wauseon, Ohio on December 16, 1946, the daughter of Elwood and Wantea (Stickley) Peotter. Surviving are her children, David Scott (Angie) McDaniel, Danielle Maggart (McBride) (John McBride), grandchildren, Allan, Kayle, Cory, Tesa, Erika, Jeffery, Alexanderia, Matthew, David James, Dalton, Devin and Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Kingston, Raley, Hadley, Parker, Avery, Willow and Delilah; and soon-to-be great-grandchildren, Baby Ophelia and  Baby James. She is also survived her sister, Rebecca Weaver. She was preceded in death by son, Troy Peotter; her parents; and her brother, James Peotter.

Visitation for Karol will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 P.M., also in the funeral home, with Celebrant Adam Grisier, officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery, near Wauseon.
