Kirk H.E. Young

Kirk H.E. Young, age 50, of Wauseon, passed away on March 10, 2025, at the University of Toledo Medical College.

Kirk was born on December 24, 1974, in Wauseon, to Arthur Harold and Lenore (Strong) Young, Sr. He was a graduate of Evergreen High School. Kirk was an avid dirt track racing fan, attending racing events all over the country and more locally at Oakshade Race Track. Kirk was someone who never met a stranger, always socializing with the people around him.

Surviving Kirk is his son, Dylan Young of Wauseon; son, Nathan Young of Wauseon; mother of his children, Sarah Young; parents, Arthur and Lenore; uncle, Sam (Larke) Strong of TN; aunt, Martha (John) Wilson of TN; and many cousins, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Allison Young; and brother, Arthur Young, Jr.

Visitation for Kirk will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, from 2pm to 5pm. Inurnment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
