Mary Lou (Spiker) Ringer

Mary Lou Ringer, age 93, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away at the home of her daughter, Patty Jo, surrounded by her daughters on September 5, 2023. Mary spent her life caring for her family and her home.

Mary was born on November 6, 1929, in Cuzzart, WV, to the late Robert Loran and Nellie Faye (Feather) Spiker. On June 26, 1948, Mary married the love of her life, Marvin Dale Ringer, who preceded her in death in 2017. Mary was a quilter and gardener. She also loved to bake, being known for her homemade doughnuts and custard pies.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Patty Jo (Gary) Brown of Maumee; daughter, Sally (Rick) Britton of Fairmont, WV; and son, Richard Ringer of Bruceton Mills, WV; grandchildren, Barry (Stacy), Robb (Dianne), Andrea (Andrew), Brian (fiancé, Jenna), Travis (Ambria), Victor, and Leah; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Wyatt, Brayden, Kevin, Rebecca Jo, Corrie, Seth, Kaelin, Makayla, Isaiah, Ruby, and River; and great-great-grandchild, Camden. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Smith. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; parents; sister, Ruth Ann Bishoff; grandson, Alex Titov Ringer; and brother-in-law, Roy D. Smith.

A celebration of life and thanks will be held on October 28, 2023, at 2pm, at the Centenary Methodist Church in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, with a graveside service to follow at the Centenary Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions in Mary's memory would be made to Centenary Methodist Church at Brandonville Pike, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525, Nazarene Church at 3767 Little Sandy Rd.
