February 5, 2021 3:59 PMMike was a very kind and giving person. I was with him at his home one day when we were in high school. Howard Quillet stopped by because Mike had promised to teach him how to play the (electric) guitar. It got awkward quickly when we discovered that Mr. Quillet was left handed while Mike’s guitar was set up for playing right handed. He even tried it with the guitar upside down. No success. But Mike’s band did a great version of “InaGaddaDavida” that year at the Chicken BBQ tent at the Fulton County Fair.

February 5, 2021 10:41 AMOur sympathy to Mike's family. He was a kind man. He installed an appliance for us from Hammontree's and since our sons were homeschooled, they had a lot of questions and he answered them all without any hesitation. In the conversation hunting came up and he invited our family to his home for some gun safety discussions. That was a great time for our sons. Praying for your peace and good memories.

February 4, 2021 4:45 PMBill & Jerry, You have my sympathy on your brothers passing. I never knew him as he was younger. Bill , Carolyn Saunders Yackee passed away from the Covid. I had the Covid, it was positive I was tested July 24th. I didn't get straightened out until the end of September. I thought Merle was going to the class reunion but he didn't go, I don't know how many went.
