Obituary
Stephanie Kay Forrest, age 63, of Manitou Beach, Michigan, passed away suddenly Friday, August 18th, 2023 at the Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, Michigan. Stephanie was born to John and Gloria (Thompson) Forrest on November 15th 1959 in Wauseon, Ohio. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother. For the last 20 years Stephanie resided at the cottage that her grandparents had built at Round Lake in Manitou Beach, Michigan. Those years were filled with the love and adoration that she had for her grandchildren Ruby, Travis, Quentin and her goofy dog, Hershey.
Her love could be felt through her smile and laughter, especially when exchanged during games of Uno or when swapping jokes and stories at family get-togethers. Stephanie was an intelligent and strong willed woman, who fought for what she believed in. She was a woman well loved and worth loving, our world will be a little less bright now that she’s gone.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Vicky Stoneking; father, John Forrest; sister, Julie (Mike) Jones; brothers, Steve Forrest and Tim (Brenda) Forrest; and grandchildren; Ruby, Travis and Quentin Stoneking. Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Forrest.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 26th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home in Delta, where funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm.
