Tyrel M. "TP" Patterson

Tyrel M. “TP” Patterson, age 27, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026 in Upstate New York where he had been living. He was born December 19, 1998 to Ryan and Yvonne (Villanueva) Patterson in Wauseon, Ohio. Tyrel graduated from Stryker High School, Class 2017 where he played baseball and football.

Tyrel had a natural knack and eye for photography – capturing many photos that evoked emotions and memories. He was an individual who deeply explored a wide variety of genres and musical artists. Tyrel was often the life of the party. He was always outgoing and sociable, making those connections were important to him. He was the big brother to Kaila, Kiah and Adelina and they will deeply miss him along with parents, Ryan and Yvonne and many, many more family members and dear friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ryan Patterson and Yvonne Villanueva; sisters, Kaila (Levi), Kiah (Brayden) Drake and Adelina. Also surviving are grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a ton of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Jaime Villanueva.

The family will gather on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Grisier Funeral Home – 109 S. Defiance Street, Stryker, Ohio. On Saturday at 2:00 p.m. the family will gather privately.

Interment will be private on Sunday.
