My name is Carlein. I am a Bible teacher. I am sorry for your loss. A scripture that has given me much comfort is Revelation 21.4 which promises that one day death shall be no more. I hope this truth brings you comfort also.

Prayers are with you in the loss of your dear sister! I remember times at Wheaton together, and fun youth activities, as she was just a touch older than me. She was bubbly and always had a smile! So young to lose her! Our sympathy is with all of you!

I am so sad to hear of Jane's untimely death and send all my sympathy to her more immediate family and her friends. Across long distances and particularly when I no longer had my mother to bring me up to date with all the family news, I lost the opportunity to know my younger cousins as adults. But I do have such a vivid memory of Jane in her teens and twenties -- so much energy and a smile that really could light up a room.

Diane - Thanks so much for your kind and thoughtful words. Since Janie loved history, she kept lots of photos, letters, and other documents and remembrances from the time that she was very young. We have been laughing, crying and holding each other up during these last couple of weeks as we have been looking at these items. If you get to Pettisville, please get in touch. I know all of us would love to see you again.

Our deepest condolences to family and friends. It is very painful to say goodbye to someone we love. So we will not say goodbye, just, 'see you later'. And until we say hello again, every loving memory will be like the warming rays of sun which help to bring comfort from the pain and sorrow. I enjoyed talking with Jane. She was very bright and knowledgeable. She seemed to weather the sad times, enjoying life regardless. My last contact was putting up a Christmas tree at the Fulton County Historical Society. To the family, my condolences.
