Corky, Tom and Carma:
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your parents. I was just thinking of the times we spent at the farm for family reunions and visits years ago. I enjoyed your mom and dad's senses of humor and great love of life. I am so sorry we could not be at the memorial service. God's peace be with you. Karen

My condolences to the family of Mary, I can tell that she loved her husband and her family and will be greatly missed. I enjoyed reading about her connection to God and in that vein I'd like to share some comforting thoughts from the scriptures. The Bible speaks of a time when there will be no more death or suffering. I have found comfort in the words recorded at Revelation 21:4 where it says, "and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I also find the words recoded as 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 reassuring, it says, "Praised be the God and father of our lord Jesus Christ, the father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort we receive from God." I hope you can lean on God in your time of need. If you would like to read some more comforting words from the Bible, please feel free to visit JW.org.

Sorry for the passing of your Mother. We will be unable to come to her visitation because we have a commitment at church. Try to think of her being with your Dad again and how happy they are to see each other again. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family.

Corky,Tom and Carma: Our deepest sympathy for the loss of both of your parents. They did a great job of raising you to be kind and caring siblings. Your Mom was my only sister and will miss her a lot, as you will. We wish we could be there with you, but too many miles to travel. Our Prayers are with you

Corky, Tom, Carma, Dewey, and Randy, You have my sympathy on Mary's passing, she was a dear friend and our Sunday Schoolteacher. I delivered The Toledo Blade with Dewey and Randy when we were in school. I knew your Grandparents and Great Grandparents. I hope I get to the visitation or the service.
