Steven L. Sprow

Steven L. Sprow, age 57, of Wauseon, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. Steven was a Health Safety Manager for Columbia Gas.

Steven was born in Defiance, Ohio on September 23, 1958, the son of Jack and Justine (Schackow) Sprow. On September 3, 1983 he married Melinda “Mindy” Mackin, and she survives. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon. He enjoyed playing golf, was a huge BGSU Falcons football fan, and most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family and grandson.

Surviving is his wife, Mindy; daughter, Shannon (Dave) Haas of Toledo; grandson, Tripp W. Haas; mother, Justine Sprow of Defiance; two brothers, Dan (Charlene) Sprow of Defiance, Jeff (Anna) Sprow of Stryker; and two sisters, Cathy (Lenny) Richard of Lima and Mary Hutchinson of Irvine, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Sprow; and sister, Carol Jones.

Visitation for Steven will be held from 10: 00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon, where a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Julie Parsell, officiating. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Rainbow Oncology Unit at Fulton County Health Center. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
