Dear Susie and Glo, I happened onto your dad's obituary by chance. I know you through your sister, Anne. We taught together many years in KY and I had the privilege of coming home with her to OH many times. There I met your dear parents. Your dad was a wonderful gentleman. I will be forever blessed by knowing him (and your mom). We had such fun. My best memory is the canoe trip. What a blast. He was so interesting and caring. My how he loved his family. I just wanted to acknowledge his passing and my thoughts, however late, are with you ladies.

Annie, So sorry to read of the loss of your husband. Delores and I were just talking about the two of you and wondering if you were in Texas. Prayers for you and your family at this difficult time.

I have many fond memories of my "Uncle Bill." He taught me a lot about antiques. I remember antiquing with him and Aunt Lois on one of their early visits to Nashville. I hope your family can also find comfort in cherished memories of good times spent together.

We have lost a dear friend that will be missed and we extend our condolences to the family. I have many wonderful memories of nights on the dock fishing with Bill on the Arroyo in Texas. I loved to hear him tell me stories , recounting things he enjoyed; Horseshoes, Softball, Golf ,and fishing. God places people in our lives for a purpose and I consider Bill to be one of the blessings from God to me. I find comfort in the knowledge that Bill's pain and suffering has been replaced by the reward of Heaven. You ran the good race Bill and earned your reward.
