Joan M. Laidlaw

Joan M. Laidlaw, age 74, of Wauseon passed away unexpectedly Friday September 22, 2017 in Holland, MI while traveling with friends. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a Registered Nurse, having worked for many years with the Fulton County Health Department.

Joan was born on November 11, 1942 in Napoleon, Ohio the daughter of the late Howard and the late Mildred (Riemund) Mann. She was graduate of the Mercy School of Nursing and the University of Toledo. Joan was a member of the First Christian Church, D.O.C., in Wauseon.

Surviving is sister Carole Ricica, sons; Robert A. Laidlaw and Andrew L. Laidlaw. Preceding her in death besides her parents were nieces; Patricia and Linda Ricica and Daughter-in-Law; Lori Salo-Laidlaw.

Per Joan's wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration dinner will be held at the First Christian Church in Wauseon on Saturday October 28, 2017 from 4:00-8:00pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
